cool, well that should be 11 challenger's. there's 2 miata's sharing drivers because cars not ready. plus there's 2 guys runnning spec miata and 1 in a race group that will use their qualifing laps towards the challenge so possibly 14, hopefully.

Let's see...
Pads f\r-$230
Tyres(2)- $130
Seat\Belts-$200 atleast, maybe some stuff laying around I could use.
Entry fee\gas\Jimmyhats\etc.-$250
I could potentially make it happen, but lemons is in Feb. and also a CVAR race I will probably do.
Or I could just buy this MR2 I am about to go look at for $1200...
Or I could buy MS like I have wanted to for so long...
Or I could just come and watch

with the people that are sharing a car, a few friends that are registering at the event, a few other people that haven't signed up yet but are def. going, and a few that are in spec miata or a race class, it's lookin' like 17-18 challenge driver's so far!

Alright, I'm throwing down the gauntlet.
Last Friday, I attended the Open Track Day at TWS, and I happened to score a personal best lap time (two minutes, two point zero seconds). I made a video of it, complete with top speeds and lateral G's. If anyone wants to call B.S., I can send you the Traqmate data file.

I've beaten my previous record by one tenth, so the bar is even higher (just off the ground ).
Here go the video to prove it.
I am the King of TWS!
(at least until Tanner puts up a video)

You can hold on to the crown, it'll give you some luck at the MC event at MSR-H. I wont be participating but I may be able to come hang out on Sat.
Good Luck to all of yall that are participating, I'm looking forward to checking out the competition!

Not sure what the current lap record is, but here are the results from the last time NASA ran TWS CCW 2.9
http://www.nasatxracing.com/pdf/gran..._group_5&6.pdf
Looks like the best qualifying lap was 2:01.8. there are a few 1:45 - 1:55 in the race, but i have a feeling that those were not actual laps.
