Just bought my first NB!
First off this seems like an amazing forum. I have already spent hours browsing through all the sections and overwhelmed with all the info!
So I just bought this thing last week. Its a 1999 with 100k miles. The owner before me put a muffler on it, intake, tein springs, and a nice stereo in it. I drove 5 hours to pick it up and with a quick browse of craigslist I ended up finding a mint oem hardtop and a set of rota wheels with brand new tires on my way home.
I plan on ordering some flyingmiata sway bars this week, and plan on upgrading the struts soon. Quick question. The guy supplied me with all the parts to do the timing belt but he got them from Napa. Should I be wary of these parts and order the kit from flying miata? Also I was thinking about doing the Exintake mod at the same time I do the timing belt.
Here it is the day I picked it up
2 days later this is how it sits! I plan doing a clay bar and buffing job on it this week
