Default Barometric Correction (turn it off?)

This might be an MS-II thing, but anyone have the baro-correction screw them? On a club run yesterday, I kept noticing my nice new lean-burn map was rich in weird spots. Then, when I tried to start the car after a pit stop at 6,000 feet, I couldn't get the motor to catch, and fuel was spitting out the pipe.

Turns out BARO correction (thats my theory) was ******* my mom and walking away with major stink-dick. Or something. The point is untill I leaned out things all over the place, it wouldn't work, and once I did, the car ran like *** all the other time.

Eventually, I found the baro-correction table - which isn't the baro correction, but rather is the correction to the baro-correction and is a huge pain. I feel like I'm in highschool algebra trying to find the inverse of a matrix and I don't like it.

I'm not sure what I'm asking here. I'm just pissed. :-P But if anyone has a "baro works awesome for me" or a "I turned it off and this is how" story I'd love to hear it.

I did my baro using a 2nd 2.5bar map sensor, like you. if on, it idles rich as **** and will stall out if i try to idle it less than 12.5:1. i blame my wiring, but it seems to match the manual. so i haven't ever ran it yet.

Well, it's not too hard to check the wiring, use realtime display and see if the numbers are reasonable (mine are), which makes it all the more frustrating. Guess I'll see what advice the MS-IIe people have.
