Rich rough 500rpm idle
Well i got my car running again today woot! small feat though cause the car only idles at 500 apm and runs extremely rich aka black smoke from exhaust.
Also it breaks up alot at any steady rpm. And im not getting a accurate o2 reading from my LC1 controller, it just reads 7.5 and bounces to 22.5 every now and then.
I tried setting the Ignition offset angle and it dosnt seem to matter what deg. i enter it runs the same.
99 1.8l MS2
Update:
When i turn the required fuel down to 3 ms it idles fine at a good 900 rpms and no more black smoke but it dies as soon as i give it any throttle.

Your first step is to STOP ******* WITH SETTINGS YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T UNDERSTAND. That's how stuff gets broken.
reqfuel isn't some number you randomly dick with to get your fueling right. It is a somewhat narrowly defined value based on number of cylinders, displacement, and injector flow rate. I'd recommend that you use the built-in calculator to get the value and then don't change it.
Similarly, ignition offset isn't some number you randomly change in an effort to make it run right. It is a specific value that you determine using a timing light. It cannot be determined any other way, and once you set it you don't change it.
You need to read the "super important megasquirt threads" that are stickied at the top of this forum. That info should help get you running, and your WBO2 configured correctly. Also go to www.megamanual.com, specifically the "tuning" section, and start reading about what all the settings in the software are for. There is also a quick tuning guide here.

I didnt realize the tunerstudio did the degree adjustments on the fly so there was no need to hit burn. But i didnt get it timed correctly.
I think its ready to tune now, to get rid of the rich idel i adjust the fuel in the fuel ve table correct?
