Default idle screw with megasquirt

After you get your idle to stop jumping is it okay to use the idle screw to lower it some?

Yes. Adjust it around 850-900. You won't hurt anything.

Depends on what's controlling your idle? If you have a standalone MS, then you'll want to tell the MS where to idle, and then adjust the idlescrew as necessary with megatune running. change one of the gauges over to the idle valve gauge, and adjust the idle screw until the valve remains static.

if you have a parallel set up, then your stock ecu is probably controlling the idle, so adjust it as normal.
