Default MSPNP 2 start help

Hi there,

I'm having an issue starting my car after having switched to my megasquirt and I'm hoping an extra set of eyes can catch a mistake I may have made. It turns and turns but I don't even get a sputter. I attached my tune and a datalog of the start.

I used MS2-Extra Conversion Manual and http://www.msextra.com/doc/ms2extra/...n_Ignition.htm as my points of reference for navigating through Tunderstudio.

Car is a 2000, have MSPNP 2, Deatschwerks 700cc injectors, Aem Uego and BEGI S1 kit.

Thanks

Did you not use the included CD to load TunerStudio with the pre-made project? Your tune file suggests you created your own project.

Go to File > Project > Project Properties (or control + p)
Click on settings tab
Ensure that MegaSquirt/Microsquirt selection is set to Microsquirt Module/MSPNP.

Did you scale Required Fuel for your injectors?

How's your timing look?

Ben- You're correct. In an effort to not make any mistakes I believe I over-thought the situation and confused myself and created my own. I flashed back to the map provided for 99-00 with the only change I made to the reqfuel but that didn't work either.

The selection is the microsquirt/MSPNP. Does that make sense, it was purchased from 949Racing...the other selection is the MS 2 v3 that it could possibly be. Megasquirt PnP Miata 99-00

Matt- I believe I created my own map that I'm sure was hideously incorrect. But I did scale the injectors as 1845..4..700..14.7 and came out with 4.4. After going back to the map provided and scaling the injectors it still wouldn't start.

I didn't work with the timing because the instructions say to do that once the car is started.

Back at this again. After attempting to load the tune provided I get this:

What am I missing here? Is there anyway to start fresh?

Just give those settings a sanity check - the 3.3.0 code renamed some of the I/O ports.
