With the great deal at DIY, I'm trying to decide what is gonna best for my MSM (run in parallel). Hustler told me to get a prebuilt MS3X, while Matt at DIY suggested MS2 V3 DIY build. I would prefer to avoid soldering as much as possible, so I'm thinking either MS2 or an MS3 prebuilt. The MS3X is just a touch out of my budget of $500 and I can alway s pick it the MS3X board and add it later if my car evolves to the point that its needed. I know I'll need the IAT sensor and bung plus the DB37 pigtail. (I'll have to pick up the cables/connectors to make a boomslang type harness separately) Is there anything else I will need besides a WBo2 (already have an AEM unit)? I'm still trying to research, but with the limited time of the offer I want to make sure I get the right parts during the discount period.
While I can do an MSM unit (I've built two so far...), they certainly won't be in the ~$500 range that you are already saying is out of your budget. More like $800 with every option added, plug and play, all accessories working.
Reverant, I know you are trying to run a business, but I was wondering if you can steer me towards what I'm missing if I pick up the basic preassembled MS3 with the IAT and wiring pigtail. Are there any other mods or parts needed besides fabbing a harness that would be needed to get the MS3 to work with my MSM?
