Default No Spark/ Connection Issue

I followed the instructions that braneack posted about making/installing MS. I connected it to my netbook with just the power and gnd connected to make sure my port was working and it connected just fine in megatune. I wired in the rest of the wires following his instructions and I can hear the fuel pump kick on for a couple seconds and the center light and the led closest to the tuning cable have activity. Nothing from the one furthest from the connector.

The car turns over and reeks of fuel now, I pulled a spark plug and tried grounding it on the valve cover to see if it was sparking but it wasn't. Any tips or things I should double check?

Its a MS v3 DIY, using GM ait and MAF line is connected right above the throttle body. Car is a 1990 Miata 1.6.

I have the Ait sitting on the fender but it is connected properly according to the instructions posted. I'm gonna see what I can figure out tonight but I need the car for tomorrow morning to go to work

Pictures of your harness and the board. Both sides please.

Word of advice. Don't start projects you aren't sure you can finish on your DD. Saves you lots of headaches and sleepless nights.

Here's some, lmk if you need and specific ones. The 3 wires are ones that aren't connected. Pins 22, 26, 27 are the ones not connected. I don't have a wire going to the clutch since I don't know what wire to use for that. Here's the album to the pictures.

Coolant temp is off though, shows -40 deg, Gamma enrichment 176%.

Pulse width while cranking 12, duty cycle goes to 1% and reeks of fuel in my garage now. Engine speed shows 100 rpm but doesn't move.

Engine speed, coolant, and gamma are pink so I guess they aren't getting any signal?

It worked on MS1 Original BG Code

I gave up and put the stock ecu back in only to get some check engine lights. I'm getting code 9 and 34, checking the water thermister(9) and there's a bit of oil on it from the CAS leaking, I'm certain the isc(34) is bad.

I grounded the thermister to the head and the gauge responds so the sensor has probably gone bad, looks like I got some maintenance items to take care of before I can put the MS in.

Braineack, wanna make some money by taking a look at my MS and seeing if there's any mistakes I made and making me a new harness? LMK if you do, pm me your address and you can give me a nice low price once you receive it and are able to really know what your going to need to do.

We could make a deal, $400+my MS for you to make me one of those DIYPNP for my car. Shoot me a pm and lmk what you think.
