Default So close to spark control....

I've hooked up the spark control (2 wires should be easy right?) car started after a bit of peursuasion from stone cold, and then it ran!

except it sounded rough, so whilst it was running, I lulled the plug leads stareting from the front of the engine, 1st one as soon as I pulled it i heard clicking/arcing so that one is geting spark. next one, nada, nothing, same with three, then on lead 4 I get arcing again.

So I'm running on 2 cylinders (and pretty smoothly considering...) both coils are firing, but only on one side of each coil :(

Pluggin in the stock ECU's control makes everything normal again.

yet again Help! any ideas? I'd love to get spark going now and have everything tidied away!

many thanks in advance!

Richy

just double checked my wiring diagrams, I'd wrongly assumed that coil A controlled 1 & 2 and B 3 & 4.

A controls 1 & 4 and B conrtols 2 & 3, so I have a problem somewhere with my coil B output :-(

Could it be config based? or is it more likely something to do with my mdifications on the MS board it's self?

I'm even more confused now,

accoring to a DB37 to stock ecu pinout I've got Coil A which is the brown wire should go to the wire on pin number 29 on the DB37 and coul B (brown yellow) to pin 31 on the DB37

Now pin 29 goes to IAC2A according to the external wiringdiagram I got with my prebuilt loom. and pin 31 goes to ICA2B

looking at this picture of my modifications

I've got one wire going into ICA2B which is the coils that are working, but I've not got anything plumbed into ICA2A.....

However I can't actually see anything wrong with my mods, so why don't I have spark on plugs 2 & 3?

I've gone over everything a million times then suddenly this sentance jumps out at me on Jerry site

When wiring up your ECU later: Spark Output A will come out on pin36, and Spark Output B will come out on pin31.

and specifically the bit in bold.

I'm a dumbass, and it now works perfectly MS rocks!

I've replied to myself 4 times in my own thread, tho writing it all down helped to collate my thoughts I think...

Thanks for putting up with me!
