ACT Clutch Group Buy

Sorry guys, I just got ******* shitty news.
As of a few weeks from now, I am unemployed.
Turbo build is on halt. ******* sucks, but what can you do.
I can't commit to any purchases, until I find something to replace my current job.
****.
I hope I won't have to sell the 3-4k worth of **** I have lying around the house.

Although, I am still in for the clutch. I need one. Anyways, I will sell my truck before my Miata.

But, keeping the miata for sure vs. a clutch that wouldn't go on for months yet, miata wins.
Sorry guys, I am sure someone will fill my place.

I think so. Another question. If I were to get the zm1-xtmm because it's cheaper than the zm2-xtss and should be fine for (I'm hoping) 230-250hp I'd need a 1.6 flywheel as well. On the site they list the 1.8 ACT flywheels but only stock replacements for the 1.6 How would I go about getting one from them.

ACT doesn't make a lw 1.6 size flywheel. You would have to get a lw flywheel from somebody else like fidanza or fuji racing or moss.

Hey all.
I got stuck in Key West this weekend... we went down for a day and the plane broke. I'm back, and this deal has taken a slight turn.
CC had told me that ACT just last week raised it's prices across the board. It seemed odd to me that he didn't mention this to me until the end of our first phone call... but he did. He said it would be only a few dollars though. As you can see (if you'd looked a few days ago), the prices of the Miata clutches have gone up about $12 on average... which is way more than I expected. I have not verified from another source that ACT has actually raised it's prices or if this is CC trying to nickel-and-dime us. I think I communicated to Tom that this was a great opportunity for him to make a name for his company with us, so I believe the price change is a bummer of a coincidence.
Our deal of 10% off the current (post raise) prices is still better than anywhere else out there. At the current prices, the deals look like this for the popular models:
1.6HDmm:$275
1.6XTmm: $332
1.8HDss: $354
1.8XTss: $442
The prices at ProStreetOnline are about $12 more any day of the week... so in the end, this thing is turning out to be only a marginal savings. If I'd stayed with PSO, their deal would have turned out to save us $20 over the current CC prices... but I already burned that bridge.
So, I totally understand if anybody wants to back out and buy on their own later or whatever. The current list POSTED BELOW is still missing 1 "definite" to make 10, and since this thread has been up for a week, everybody who was interested should have posted. Again, there are no hard feelings or trash-talking or anything if you back out. I totally understand and I wouldn't do business any other way.
I will call Tom tomorrow and explain our situation to him. If you're like me and you need a clutch now, then by all means, just communicate that you're out and NO SWEAT. I need a clutch really bad, but it's my deal. Otherwise, I'll ask that you hang on for another day or two to see how the list plays out.
As of this second, this is how I see the list:
Definite:
1. SamNavy
2. fourwhls
3. tann3r
4. Icantdo55
5. latch
6. rotaryjunky
7. tronik
8. jtpaintballwdp
9. amagalla
Fence for various reasons:
1. blue89turbo
2. johndoe
3. orion4096
4. dc2696
Yes, but later:
1. Loki047
Thanks for being patient... or later.

The price increase was probably as of Jan 1. Everybody inflates their prices yearly.
I know we've had the convo before, but I will be needing a 6 puck disc only. I understand the margin isn't in single parts, but if it helps tip the scale let me know. No big deal to me though, so don't go up to bat. I can always get a clutchnet item later, when I actually need it.

same place! carolina clutch, i told the guy that he's a great dealer, which he is, with fast response and superb customer service
i paid about 400$ for the 6-puck XT clutch, should have it in this weekend..... transmission's already taken out at my friend's house
