After making a real WOT pass in mine, I'd say its worth every penny. It hazed the 225 nt01's up in a hurry from a 2nd gear pull and then a 3rd gear pull, easing into it both times and letting out at 5800 instead of at the 6700rpm revlimiter. It made the fmII kit at 12-15psi feel like our geo tracker..... and there is just a little 5.3 in it!

Nathan pretty well wrote the book on DIY LSx swaps...or at least the website.

I feel like we've had this discussion before...

The car may be worth the money, but it's really only worth what someone will pay. For how long he's had it for sale I'm surprised he hasn't come down a bit. Prices on toys are dropping like lead balloons...bike, sports cars... You can get a really nice LSx FD for this kind of money nowadays.

I can understand him asking so much for all the work he has in it. He covered every corner of the car, including paint. I'd rock it eight ways to Friday if I could afford it, but part of me would rather build it anyhow.

Did you use the L33 or an iron block? If iron, how bad is the weight on the nose...noticeable?

Its an ASA cammed L33 with LS6 valves, LS6 springs, Ti retainers, shimmed oil pump, and an LS6 intake.
