Quick! Less than 30 minutes left. I'm curious to see how many last minute bids this thing gets.

At $200 bucks it's still a steal IMO for a fresh diff. I would've paid as much as 188.59 to have it as a backup lsd.

that's a good deal. I paid $275 shipped for mine with the pinion housing and gears.

That is a good deal if they rebuilt it with new parts. I paid $100 for my diff and $230 for all the discs to rebuild it.

I think the key is to get the lsd from the 13b first gen GSL-SE. Most don't realize that the big axle first gen is the same as the second gen and the price doesn't get driven up. I paid $100 for mine and all disks were at or over spec.

What is the year range for that first gen 13b gsl-se?

Hahaha. Nice snipe but no chance, I was willing to pay much more for this fresh diff.

I thought it was a steal too, I was expecting somebody to bump it up to 250+.

I bid with 45 sec left.

You can thank my java app for the snipe.
I figure the <$200 bid was justified for a backup/second lsd since I've got an open diff laying on the floor. More than $200 and the money goes elsewhere, and somebody who REALLY needs the diff gets it at a good price.

Yep, a .60/.63 Garrett T3 is really needing it.

I think I am going to go with cyro'd 3.636 gears too. Not sure how much the cryo'ing would run me though.

You'll need a trans upgrade first.

Why?

I can't imagine why I would need one (at this point in time), but a 6spd would suit the 3.636 gears. I don't see the point in doing the diff twice, I can't see why the gears would not work with the stock 5 speed.

In the future, when I get some more money (or find a cheap one) I will swap in a 6spd. But with a good 5spd, and my current goals under the 5spd breaking point, there is still alot more **** that needs to be bought before I replace a perfectly good transmission.

You'll need a trans before you bust up the rear since the trans is the first weak link. There's guys running 250ftlbs @ the wheels on the 1.8 rear (and trans) all day long.

I understand. What I am saying is, I am going to install this RX7 LSD, into my diff. Instead of in the future pulling it out again to install taller gearing, I will do it now and get it over and done with.

You know what I mean? No point in doing the same **** twice.

I was talking about cryo on the ring/pinion - it doesn't need it, nobody is breaking them.
