Default Slippin clutch & High idle

Ok, just got done with a motor swap. I installed a new Excedy stage I clutch & pressure plate. the car is idling about 1500rpm and when it hits about 4k the clutch starts to slip. Again, this started happening after the motor swap. Any Ideas?

man you shoulda went with the stage 3 or 2...i think the stage 2 is only rated at 225 foot/pound of torque... I have a stock block 1.6 with the greddy kit on and the clutch STILL slips...not to mention my 4th piston is shot and i'm basically running on 3 hahahaha.

and yes...idle screww? turn clockwise to lower idle i believe.

not motor issues cuz its the same 1.6 stock motor. stage 1 is ok for even up to 8-10psi. thats not the issue either. next??? adjust the clutch?
