I know how to set the TB, I know how to set the timing light and move the cas, but I dont know how many times exactly it was turned so my question is, will it be reseted to some degree, or will I need to back track the cas
#include <set the TEN jumper>
#include <start the engine>
DO {retard the timing}
WHILE (pinging like crazy)
DO {use timing light and adjust CAS}
WHILE (timing != 10 BTDC)

When I pulled My Motor, The Cas was taken Off. I remember when My car was Na and I replaced the seal I turned the little **** on the cas and it messed with my timing and I had to take it back off and back it back 180 degrees. So I pulled my motor and had it off again, and I belive it was turned a few times, and my question was, if it needed to be turned back, or if it was gonna be fine once the gears and crank was lined up and then just set the timing then, or if there was a way to reset it, or if it doesnt even matter if that **** was turned. I read that article before, and didnt really say much about it. now do you know what i mean.

the crank angle sensor can spin freely, if you take it off.
with the adjuster bolt still in the head, the crank angle sensor only spins about 30 degrees.
if you take the crank angle sensor off, you can spin it all you want, it won't mess anything up.
when you put it back on, the two keys on the crank angle sensor, and the two matching keyways on the end of the intake camshaft, can only fit one way.
once you have your timing belt as per the instructions on www.miata.net, put the crank angle sensor in until the keyways line up and the crank angle sensor slots into position.
then rotate the entire sensor until the slot for the bolt lines up with the hole in the back of the head, and put in the bolt.
snug the bolt.
once everything is put back together, turn the engine on. no matter where the bolt is in the slot, it should run, provided you set your timing belt/cam gears/crank gears correctly.
however, it will run like crap in most positions, until you follow the instructions on how to set your timing using a timing light, these instructions you supposedly read off of www.miata.net.
if you have any other questions, feel free to post them.
be prepared to be flamed, though.

His biggest problem is he is confusing Valve Timing with Ignition Timing.
Your Timing belt controls your valve timing aka when they open and when the bitches stay shut.
Your CAS controls your ignition timing aka when the spark goes bang.
your valve timing is just set to what it is when you put your timing belt back on correctly.
your ignition timing is set to 10 BTDC. So pull out a timing light point it at the crank pully and then turn your CAS till you see the little white dash line up with the 10 BTDC on your timing belt cover.

That too is what i was looking for.

www.planetmiata.com
www.flyinmiata.com
good for used parts. you'll have to email or call them both, but you should be able to get a used one for around $20 I'm guessing.
and do not, whatever you do, get a 'underdrive' pulley from ebay. they get rid of the harmonic balancer, and unless your engine is professionally balanced (better then even mazda did) it could cause some serious damage to your engine.
