tapped wrong spot AGH!!

Here you go, i tapped wrong spot of oil pan. I watched countless photos, and i saw a pic that they were tapping the oil pan same spot as i was. I found out that i was a bit too high. How would i cover this whole, i tried tapping without removing the engine, i was trying to tap under the ac but it seems that i have to lose ac. The reason is wrong spot, is when feeling the inside their an extra piece a metal.
Another thing the metal i feeling any idea what could it be?

That's the oil pump pickup, as long as you didn't puncture it, you're fine. And as long as a hose coming out of the spot you drilled doesn't interfere with anything, you're fine. There's about a 3"x3" square that includes all the spots normally drilled and tapped, it's not a hugely precise location. Although with AC and I'm guessing PS, you're the most limited.

You should be fine, as long as you didn't damage the tube.

If it was just the windage tray it would be fine, but I can't tell from the picture if it hit the pickup. Could always chance it and install the drain, hope it fits without hitting accessories, then cross your fingers and pray you see oil pressure. Also looks like you pushed a big wad of grease and metal shavings into the pan, which won't be too good if they get past the pickup screen. I say sell the car and start again, that's what I would do.

You're fine.
I hit the baffle my first time, almost the exact same spot.
I worked 5yrs as a machinist, and drilling it in car I still had the bit jump on me and then basically plunk straight through the pan 2in back and 1in higher than where I was aiming.
Much easier the second time around with engine on stand.
