Why the hell would you want a super loud BOV!! It's one more reason for the cops to pick on you.
I have a SSQV with the purple insert (which is the quiet one I guess) and it drives me nuts but if your look for loud try it with the stock or gold. Even with the quieter insert in the SSQV is louder then my old Greddy RS.

Thats why i got rid of the RFL.

The SSQ is pretty quiet when you're just drivin around not getting in to to much boost.

True...it's even better when your driving a 1st gen Protege, but the cops in my town are *** holes so thats why I went with a quieter one.

I have a IHI VJ-20 and it's small!!! So I get a ton of part throttle boost.

I've heard the bailey bov is pretty loud. It's also pretty safe for greddy since hte piston is strong and it won't leak. I've got one but no turbo kit running...yet

i had a rfl turbo xs BOV on my FM2 turbo and at 10 psi its loud. the only problem was that at low psi like 3 or so it would surge the turbo. If you dont have a small BB turbo i bet you wont have that problem. so i would loosen the spring and one day from all the vibration the dam thing blew off and i lost it doing 80mph i now have the super quite stock Mitsubishi bov. i miss the loud one because it was fun to mess with the V8 boys and then smoke them but in CA is better to be stealthy dam CHP.
