But more power to you Stripes, good to see innovation still flowing in the miata world, especially since the aftermarket for them isnt as large as most imports. good work

Ok well i just got back from extensive "testing", intercooler setup is great . NICE JOB JOHN Outlet side of the intercooler is way cooler than the starion ever was, spool seems to be a bit sooner and much smoother. Everything fit much better and is way more secure than the **** setup. All of the hardware with this kit is top notch, not a single pipe blew off. Definitely more power, clutch was slipping more than it ever has today.
Also on a side note my new GFB bov works great, vents with no issues on the stock computer and sounds awesome, made me laugh when it first went off.

Thank you for your interest! No, I don't have my site up yet. I did not realize it would take me this long to get it up and running. Eventually you will be able to find more info on this kit at www.mx5projects.com. Hopefully I can get all this stuff together soon so I can start rocking and rolling on these kits.
As you may know, we finished the install on Mach929 car and we were able to take it out for a test drive. So far he is extremely happy with this kit’s performance and I’m very happy how everything fit together. I really want him to drive the heck out it for a few days just to make sure everything is working properly. So far so good.
For the next couple of days, anyone who is interested in purchasing this kit please send me a PM through this site. I'll keep you updated on any progress I make.
Thanks again,
stripes

Just a bit more "data" on the kit. I was out the past two days for local and long highway boosted runs and noticed two things:
1) 90+ degrees outside and no overheating even with some serious boosting action and the bigger IC that blocks much more of the rad. I think the fans went off once or twice while I was idling at a light. I do have a dual row rad replacement (not aluminum though) and no other cooling "mods." I also have removed the lower plastic shroud which technically should reduce air flow thru the rad.
2) I hit 17-18psi of boost a few times. Whoops! But, since the GReddy turbo can only put out around 18-ish psi, that confirms that there is a 1psi or less drop across the IC/pipes.

Funny...I was out for little today too. Half day of work since i leave for vacation tonight, be back in about a week or so .
Anyway since my new intercooler setup my boost is much more steady. It used to go up to about 7psi and then settle back down to 6psi. Now it goes to around 8psi and doesn't move. Now my clutch is slipping like crazy and i suspect i might be a little lean since i'm on stock injectors, i've just been waiting to put my supra injectors in since my clutch has been slipping. Also transition into boost is much smoother and response is better. New setup is great .
Now i just need to get this damn thing painted, decided to go with a mercedes color called designo graphite #041, should look awesome

Actually the 15G should be able to produce a little over 20psi before dropping off as you near redline. The compressor map goes to almost 2 bar, but the 15G on a miata engine wont ever see more than about 22-23psi I wouldnt think.

I guess I deserved that. I just want to let everyone know this project is still very much alive and I do intend on proceeding with this product. It's taking me way longer than anticipated to get this kit off the ground.
This is not exactly how I wanted to roll this kit out. Here you guys go:
http://www.mx5projects.com/Greddy%20Intercooler.asp
I currently have two kits that could be shipped in a week. However, business trips and a family vacations will take me away from this project for the next two weeks.
Anyone who is interested in this kit can PM me through this forum or email me at: johnschnabel@comcast.net. I'd be happy to answer any questions concerning this kit.
Thanks,
stripes
