6 bolts equally spaced @ 20 ft/lbs = 120 ft/lbs.

3 dowels in y pattern @ 0 ft/lbs = 0 ft/lbs.

While it might have been a good idea, it's all the same to me, it works, and i doubt it will fail.

Tony is just a hater.

Okay, not to be strange and all; but can you tell me more about the use of the insane extensions?

I am doing my auto to MSM 6-spd swap this week and have yet to pull the Trans on a Miata. What the hell are the sick extensions used for?
Right now I have the PPF off of the car, torque converter bolts out, and all the fluids drained… but next step will be the damn auto box itself. Is it safe to assume that the massive extensions are used for removing the top-most bell housing bolts from below the car?
Man… I sure can use some help if anyone is up for it!
Cheers,
Prospero

Ok, so what happened.
I called Cnet and Igor is no longer there, but they will honor the old GB rate for me and my friend.
I thought we had a good experience with Cnet, am I wrong?
I don't care if they are ------s, I just want the clutch to hold and not fall appart and cut my legs off.

about 3:4 of the people who ordered during the groupbuy had clutches that wouldn't disengage.

if you need a clutch buy a FM clutch.

Thanks for the info, I missed out on that tragedy.
Now I am ready for a clutch, and almost bought one from them.
Time to look at other options I guess. I'm still not buying from FM, I can get them locally for cheaper plus no shipping. They are called Carolina Clutch or something like that.

I didn't say buy an ACT clutch from FM. I suggested buying a FM clutch.

the san jose guys should have lots of experience doing my clutch.

i used the 4 wobble socket extensions to do mine. works great. throw away the 1/4" ones that come in the set before you break a knucle though.
