The HD bars bolt behind the seats with the same mounting bolts as the roll bar. The front would have to be drilled and bolted into place. If you have a HD bar you wouldn't have to do any additional drilling behind the seat, just the floor.

okay so i dont have a hd rollbar, but i am going to make these compatible with them, so i need either an accurate drawing of where the bolt holes are, someone in my area with one to let me look and take some pictures(for a discounted set of door bars of course), or i could just buy some backing plates off bethania that have the hole locations. any takers?

Alright i finally got the die i needed in the mail today, so i went out and made a basic shape for what the door bars will be. Seems that the kirk bar mounts higher up, as its a weld in, so this was a hybrid of the two designs. Tomorrow i will bend this shape out of a piece of tubing and see how it goes from there. i still need a way to know exactly where the three bolts for mounting the bar are, i have pictures just no exact measurements.

I'm in for a set for the $200 shipped if it comes with hardware and bolts to HD roll bar. Just make sure that they will hold up in a side impact. I'm more concerned about that than the extra stiffening. Put me on the short list for ordering.

Damn I spend to much money on this car

I have some pictures of what the bars will look like mounted in the car now. I'm working with a member here to get the bolt hole locations, but if there's anyone in the bay area in cali that is interested in these and has a hard dog roll bar, it would be a huge help to be able to look at the mounts in your car. I will start bending the bars on monday for sure, and once i get the mounting plates i will be able to start shipping them out. The pictures are the bar and the two places the bar will mount.

Actually yes i got some updates. First i just wanna say sorry for being such a dick and saying they would be done so long ago, just stuff has gotten in the way, basically just a bunch of stuff Ive been working on on my car, im sure you guys know what i mean. And ive been trying to hold off posting on them until i got closer to completion. so,
UPDATE:
I changed the design to just a copy of Bethania Garage, because the other way i was going to waste a bunch of metal with some mistakes. I just need to finish making the mounting plates and backup plates for the floor part and then welding is the easy part. I'm building the first batch of ten pairs, theyre going to be 200 including shipping and come with hardware for the floor part, but not painted. I'm hoping to be done within the next two weeks, if you want to start a list reserving yours just post up in here.
again, sorry for the huge delay, but they ARE happening and will be done soon.
