Is the old sensor what we received in the group buy? Mine is currently set to 16kpa/313adc and 300kpa/3434adc. Would plugging in the updated numbers make the car run leaner? I guess it doesn't matter as long as the AFR's are good.

I wouldn't mess with it unless you are having problems with your tune and want to change back to a base map. Really looking at yours its probably scaled perfectly, it just might be reading a little off compared to what ours is reading.

Noob question

the map you have called NA8stock injector would be the same for a NA6? or usable for an NA6 with standard injectors exhaust & enlarged intake?

Yea, the NA8 and NA6 are the same on everything except the fuel map is probably a little rich for that motor. The ECU will take care of that though.

The easy solution to knowing which (if either calibration) apply is to put in the numbers. If I remember the ignition on no car running condition was +/-16Kpa than atmosphere. Use the numbers that put you at 101Kpa with the ignition on without the motor running.

Wow, just got back from Belarus and finally got the chance to run this map...

Pretty much my car will idle at 450 RPM, lean tip in is there, @2% TPS the car goes dead nuts lean... BUT it is better than what I was running under boost! I have more power and less sputtering now.

For sure there is a serious difference in how our cars are running... Travis's map is better than what I had before but at the same time cannot idle and have other issues. Would love to test other maps with my car now that the fuel issues have been resolved. (Fuel filter was holding me back a bit)

Hope to play more with the car this afternoon!

Cheers,
Matt

I think it’s fair to say “There is no plug and play map”. If all our car were standard then you could develop a PNP map, but luckily there all unique (but mines better ). A map that allows the car to start is all you need.

I think its going to get a lot better now that I know the map sensors were switched on me. I am frustrated that some people have had problems idling, but there are so many open factors in each injector change that I don't know if i can quote any injector being a snap besides the deatschwerks when I get those redialed in on this new MAP setting. Its too tough when people don't know deadtime, exact flow rate, and all of that.

Travis,

I just heard that there is new FW and WARI 1.13 out? Don't suppose you have an updated ECU file out there with the new revised MAP settings, injector dead times, and all the good stuff?

Supposed to get back from NYC tomorrow and would kill to drive my car on the weekend!

Also, do you have any write ups for the new features on WARI? It looks neat as hell but my noodle is too cooked to grasp it right now.

Thanks sooo much and best regards,
Matt

The car has been dead lately because of all the little projects I have going on for it. As soon as I get it running I'll be posting the full unabridged throttle tip in manual.

Wow, it sounds like you are in the same boat as me!!! Too busy to keep up with all of the projects and hobbies...

Look forward to seeing the manual and learning more about the tricks!

Cheers,
Prospero
