No fucking around! Originally I had thought about 7670, but after talking to the boys at Full-Race, they said just go for it!

When I saw the box and compared to the box the 7064 came in, I was a bit worried if it would fit! I have had to clock the turbo about 5deg (allowed up to 20deg) so the waste gate had enough clearance from Cylinder 1 pipe!

This thing is freaking huge and we have a 9180 at the shop too for a 850-900 HP project (Not BP unfortunately).

The late night working of getting this thing to start before the new years continues. I am waiting on a few aluminum v-band flanges for the intercooler piping and a 3"-4" transition for the turbo down pipe and we should be good to go!

They are big. I used to run a 7064 TS on my wrx. Turbo is massive. You'll have fun with the 8374...

I might go the E85 route, too bad we don't have any up here. So the races up here will be C108 and C116 race gas. When i head down south of the border to Seattle and Portland, will get E85. By the way what is the shelf life of that stuff? As bad as gas? Maybe I can go buy a 55gal drum and bring it up.

As for spark, have the WeaponX coils, we shall see how they hold up. And have a A1000 fuel pump which should be more than enough.

its very sensitive to temperature/weather. gotta store it properly or you'll have a bad time.

If you don't have E85 available at the pump (and its good), and you are going to need to special order anyway, get a 55 gal drum of E100. You'd need to come up with a starting solution for cold weather, but that wouldn't be bad if this is pure racecar.

Shelf life depends on environment and storage. You want to keep it dry for sure. It will absorb water straight out of the air.

Yes, this is dedicated race car, so cold weather starting is not an issue! I will need to look into it. The local Evans coolant guy said he might be looking into bringing in some race gas. Shall see what he is thinking of.

5gal jugs can be a better vessels (if available, or transfer yourself) since you break the seals closer to use. The last 5gals in the larger drum will always be different than the first 5.

Getting dry ethanol to mix your own is probably out of the question (costly anyway)?
I have not seen anything about drying the E85 with Calcium Chloride or other primitive drying agents (as water content must be the biggest varying factor, besides degradation of the gas component).
Experimenting with a race engine running on the edge can be expensive (or dumb depending on view).

At least water in the e85 wont harm the engine.

You also cant get e100, only e98. Well I guess you can get e100 but you'll be paying the liquor tax on it because it wont be denatured.

Alright! I might just get some E85 to make a tune on the dyno so I can just show up at the track down in the US and switch the map.
