Oh man, I forgot you already have the 99 head on there.

Then converting to NB sensors should be easy peasy, and very well worth your effort.

bcrx7 12-17-2013 11:01 AM

Yeah, I wouldn't put that big monster on there with the 94-97 head.

I will add something to the valve cover up front, it will be easy I am sure!

Leafy 12-17-2013 11:05 AM

For some reason I thought this car had a 1.6.

bcrx7 12-17-2013 11:42 AM

Hahaha and a 8374... that would be the day. Wouldn't be able to find enough hamsters locally to spin the turbo with 1.6!

18psi 12-17-2013 11:50 AM

Full boost in 6th at 7k

the thing with the VVT intake cam gear and valve cover is that they wont work for you unless you change to a VVT head totally.... the intake cam pulses and the mounting hardware for the cam sensor at the back of the valve cover wont work for you without a custom cam and custom valve cover.

that said, you can get a '99-00 valve cover with the front cam angle sensor provision and run that. I just cut a '99 valve cover front... if you want the front scrap to weld onto yours to make some weird hybrid valve cover you are my guest... just pay the shipping. then you can bolt the '99-00 CAS to that.

Sure, that would be great! I am in Canada too!

My valve cover is off of a MSM, however I cut too excited with the cutter. I'll PM you my address!

Really? Where are you located? Can I expect to see this in the local regional events eventually?

Westcoast! It will be at mission for a couple of shake down races, but not my favourite track!

Come now, dont be stingy, run ALLOFIT, I want to see a 700hp BP.

bcrx7 12-17-2013 05:26 PM

I know right! We shall see how easy 600hp will be

Impuls 12-17-2013 05:38 PM

So, nawz right?

bcrx7 12-17-2013 06:21 PM

Spool?
You could use two of the big ones though :(

I'm actually really curious about spool time and how your power curve is going to look.
When are you going to post dyno graph and video? :D

Leafy 12-17-2013 07:02 PM

I looked at the compressor map for this turbo. This things going to be hilarious, nothing nothing nothing, compressor surge surge, 5krpm 35psi ohmehgawd. Like literally everything under ~5k rpm is left of the surge line. This is going to be awesome.
