Thanks guys. Never had it on a dyno, but did run it at the drag strip last year. 12.96@108 on street tires with a shitty launch and 12 lbs of boost. I'd guess somewhere around 250-260 whp?

I am so envious of the cleanliness. The whole car looks amazing. How do you like the S2K seats?

I need to put some attention else where on my car.

I got a really good deal on the S2K seats when a friend was turning his into a race car. That being said, I wouldn't pay market value for them because they are a little too big for the car. I had to get creative in the mounting and they do sit about 1/2" lower than the OEM seats, but they just wont go back as far as I would like with the roll bar. They are very comfortable, but if I were any taller (6 ft), it would be a no go.

Default Tease!!

At first, I was like, "wow . . . !!!"

Then, it occured to me what was happening here.

Simple thread title . . . "1990 Mazda Miata Turbo" in the build thread section. Hey, I've got one of those . . . let's check it out! Open it up, and there, in glory, is the most unbelievable 1990 Miata that any of us has ever seen.

But . . . no build details. Nada, zilch. Only a weak apology that "hey, forgot to do a thread, here are some pictures of what perfection looks like after it is complete."

In high school, we had a name for girls like this. Tease.

Well, I'm not going to stand for it. I demand that you return this car to stock (including 21 years worth of grit and grime) and then do a proper, documented thread for our enjoyment to show how this miracle was achieved.

Thank you.

If you do a search, he has another thread that is more detailed on the build up to this point.

Seriously Brian, do you even drive this? I can't take my eyes off how unblemished the manifold and turbine housing is. You MUST have taken this pic before you started it up. Zuper clean!

BIG question is - will you be bringing it to a Nasa event sometime at RA? Better yet, you need to come on down to Barber in Nov with ReZoom - lets play!

Nice job Brian - car is ridiculously clean. So if I'm counting correctly this makes three really nice Miatas in your fleet? Not bad!

You should bring this out in September for the Mustang Club event at Nashville Superspeedway. Might be your last chance - I'm sure you read yesterday that Dover plans on closing the track in 2012.

Manifold and turbine housing were nitro plated, they have around 8K miles on them. I won't be tracking this one probably, it is just my street toy. I have to get to finishing up my track car and get it out though. Between the heat and 50+ hour work weeks, that has not been easy lately. Oh and I ain't playing with you, your car would rape mine!

The track car is far from clean. lol

I wont be tracking this one much, but I hope to bring the track car to the Mustang Club event and to the NASA event on Oct 1-2. Maybe I will do one session in the turbo, who knows?
