This new transmission set-up and an AC kit make me very tempted to do this...

Ha, everyone loves to guess. We'll release the info when we're 100% satisfied with the prototypes.

Yeah, A/C setup is about there, I've just been quiet about it. Compressor bracket and belt tensioner are sorted, it's just a matter of taking the time to get the lines made. Actually this white car will have A/C in it for just a bit for some more testing before the blower gets installed.

You using an off the shelf honda manifold, or having to custom make it?

The manifold mocked up in post #19 is an off-the-shelf manifold from MercRacing. The only thing that will be custom about this setup is the intercooler piping, and whatever intake inlet we end up using on the blower. I'm still looking for an off-the-shelf inlet though. I have my eye on a couple, otherwise we'll build one.

No, that thing is HUGE, I have one here that I considered.

Not a CD009, not a T5, not an S2000 trans, that's all I will say. Believe me, I'm anxious to share as well, but some things need to be finalized first.

I sort of glanced over that post. For some reason was thinking you were going turbo.

I guess I need to order me a Kswap setup, so then I can get a mKturbo setup out on the market.

this is me just thinking out loud on an off the wall idea without having any idea on feasibility or measurements... but could you route your intake into your wiper cowl and avoid the 180* turn all together?

As far as trans is concerned. If those you mentioned aren't it, I'm going to take a stab in the dark that its a KA or SR either 5MT or 6MT. Running out of OEM RWD options otherwise.. lol

Sadly those things die out quickly past 350whp.

torque is what kills boxes, not power.
on a honda motor you can probably hold 400 because the torque would still be around 300

Slow progress due to the shop move last week, but we're making steady progress on the transmission stuff. We just added a 13/16" MC kit from our buddies at V8R.

A/C, K20 redline, and a supercharger?

It's like everything I ever wanted in a car. Subbed.

hmm not a 3/4" clutch master, so its probably not any v8 tranny. Definitely not a t56, or anything using a tilton/qm/other hydraulic release bearing.

I saw this pic of a Toyota V160 trans swap for the S2000 and it made me think of your trans swap.
