Update for everyone

car has around 1200 miles on it and runs excellant. Boost is now set to 18psi, and all I can say is wow! I hit full boost by 3800rpms! Thinking about getting a water/meth kit to keep the EGTs down. I may bring the boost up to 20psi but thats the highest i'll go most likely. still not sure of the hp numbers I will put down.

I plan to switch over to synthetic oil and rack on a few more miles. I'll most likely get a snow performance water/meth kit and then head to the dyno for some tuning. I want 300+whp with a 30%meth/70% water mix.

you have a built engine, why not boost it to the moon... give it 25psi or 30psi. those turbos will make it.

just watch your EGT's and listen to it howl.

That is my plan next year.... on a built 1.68

with the water/meth kit I may take it up to 25psi. I'm currently fighting a heat soak issue, after a good pull thru the gears or a nice highway pull my car is running almost 210 degrees. I'm using the factory temperature gauge as a heat soak gauge for underhood temps.

Even with the coolant re-route underhood temps are a problem, the more boost I add the higher the underhood temps get. Until I find a solid solution for this I'll leave the boost where it is for now.

plans for coolant issue...

a coolant restrictor Inside diameter of 3/4inch (i'm not running a thermostat)
set up for both fans to come on instead of just the main fan
water/meth kit (snow performance stage 2) has a 25psi max controller

any other ideas?

are you talking about water temp heat soad issues or AIT? 210 water temps arent bad and if it is AIT temps you only have a problem if you are measuring after the WI is introduced. I would add more H20 and see where that leaves you on a IC setup i recomend spraying about 12-15% of fuel volume.
