Sweet rollbar and wheels! lol Slightly jealous, I've been watching nb's for a little while. Granted I can't afford another miata right now, but I'm still watching haha

Its got snow tires on some factory 16s. Could be fun on the red car.

Started as a flip car. Hailey may have claimed it as a track car.

Ideally we find a red NB to trade it for.

Would you take an Orange NB?

Car is growing on me. Going to put it in Hailey's name when she comes home. Cheaper insurance.

Still working on my car. Rechecked valve clearances. All were good except one. And that one was loose last time anyways. Have some extra big shims. So I'm gonna bring one of those into work and have one of the machinists knock a few thou off it.

I think my next event is going to be the Packwood tour. My car is in no way prepped. But it should be fun and a good time.

Also working on getting some aero. Splitter acquired. And probably have a wing.

Also need a real muffler for Laguna. Friday is a 92db day.

If the car still smokes at idle I'll just always drive hard. No issues. #flatout.

Please do the World (and Hailey's noggin) a favor and nuke that style bar from outer space! Also, donate those rims to ridetheroids.

You know he's going to add padding and keep it now, just to **** you off.

No, he will probably cut it up and make some sort of wing mount out of it.

Nah. Even Aidan has more self-respect than that.

But not more than that.

Probably just mount a wing directly to it.

What valve stem seals did you end up leaving installed in the head? The Supertech seals?

First to OEM then Felpro.

Its a long story. Involving disassembly of the whole top end.

No idea whats causing it. Valves are dry.

No. Only place the oil could be coming from is rings, valve stems, turbo. No intake connection, no exhaust connection.

welp if the valves are dry, and there's no residue in mani, kinda leaves you with turbo seal

There was a lot of residue in the manifold. But old residue. So I don't think it was the issue.

No oil in the turbo either.

Piston #4 looked "wet" in my shitty boroscope. But thats so hard to tell. I really need a source with a good boroscope.

Probably rings is my guess. I wouldn't tear it down just for that unless it's really bothering you though. I would guess whoever honed it didn't hone it right for your rings, but that's a guess from my end. You can look down and see a piston with a small flashlight and your eyes, and see if you see oil. If so, and valves are good, rings.
