Yep. AFR gauge is gone and not missed. MS controls and has safety. Boost is almost never looked at. It is coming out. EDIT: Again MS has control and safety. Replacing them will be Oil Temp and Pressure, mostly because I'm out of MS inputs.
Funny how when automakers went from gauges to "idiot lights" all the enthusiasts were appalled. Now enthusiasts are going to "Warning lights".

VVT issue appears to be a cam sync issue. Working on solving that. I think I have it nailed down at least.
Still smokes. Put 20 miles of hard pulls and driving. Nothing. Parked in the driveway and idled for a few minutes....smoke show.

At the track today. Not driving though. Mix of rain and the smoke issue means I'm just instructing.
@afm is coming up this weekend. Were gonna redo a bunch of wiring and pull the whole exhaust system and turbo. Hopefully we find a smoking gun. Hehe

Or it's something turbo related. I'm gonna take it out for a drive. Bring it home. And when it starts smoking shut it off. Then I should be able to trace it somewhere.

As at idle the turbo is NOT in vacuum (as its the other side of the throttle) I would not suspect the turbo - Unless there is some aspect of compressor shaft oil sealing that is better only under higher turbo outlet pressure. Does the turbo shaft have lots of play? (radial or axial?)
Check the PCV lately?
