Either line will work fine. You just need to decide if you want salmon, or angle.
Sorry for the lack of updates- It's been way too busy around here lately.
I might be buying a '93 Mariner Blue with 34,000 original miles on Saturday, woo!
I finished up an entire LED conversion because LEDs are cool and I am procrastinating on my clutch install...
Speaking of which, my clutch kit and brake setup will most likely be on by the end of the weekend. Will post pictures and updates as I get some more work done.
Cheers!

Make sure to get a rear main seal to replace it while the trans is out.

Also don't forget to out a bit of loctite on the flywheel bolts so oil doesn't leak out.

Ordered every single seal/gasket/cap replacement possible for when I do the clutch from Rosenthal. Yes, I still haven't done it.... Also pulled the trigger on the 949 HOK. ALSO got a brand new Mishimoto Z-Line intercooler for $50 so I couldn't really pass up that deal.
Now I need advice... Should I use the new Mishimoto over the used JDM Sport one I have? Pics below!

JDM Sport IC has an extra row of fins

JDM Sport core seems more dense... More fins is better, right?

Mishimoto unit as a whole is heavier, though. Better quality unit?

Mishimoto IC has a tad more depth than the JDM Sport one.
I like the Mishimoto one because it is brand new, doesn't have any bent fins, and is heavier. I like the JDM Sport one because the core looks a lot more dense... I'm at a loss.
WHICH ONE DO I USE?!

For $11.39 more, you could have gotten something better than either of those.
27 25"x6 75"X2 5" Aluminum Chrome Fmic Bar Plate Front Mount Turbo Intercooler | eBay
Edit: I would use the JDM if i had to use one of those 2. It will have less pressure drop, and has marginally better turbolators, it will also be more favorable to routing the piping.
If it were me, those would both go up on craigslist, and id buy the one I have now or the slightly taller one i just linked above.

This what youre looking for

Or spend the $$ and get a precision or similar.

Cool, thanks for the info as always guys! I'll be using the Mishi one for now because I'm a brand ***** and it will probably perform better than the JDM Sport one. Maybe I'll get the better Ebay one that you linked to some day when I get bored again

See what you IATs are, and go from there. If they are acceptable, no need to change the intercooler. That mishi will certainly have less pressure drop than the one I linked though, so there's that.
edit: Also hoping for better throttle response from the Mishi.
the gaydeem sport will let your rad get more airflow
it will also flow less inside due to the tube/fin design
it's also a flimsy thing that you can likely bend with your bare hands
it will also likely deform over time
the mishi will be stronger and likely flow more inside
both are mediocre at best. The one sean linked in theory should be better than both, none of us really tested it though
I've had all 3 of these. I liked the one sean linked the most
