A bit closer

It turns out there are so many little bits that I really haven't accounted for :P Even with your box, I feel I may not have everything I need in time to break in the motor before Saturday. :P I guess it's only Monday...
Aye, no doubt there's penetration now!

Thanks to a care package from EO2k and some well timed packages from amazon, some more progress was made tonight.

Doesn't look like much but all the little things take time.
Timing covers, water pump pulley, exhaust manifold and heat sheild, lower intake manifold, injectors, egr valve, upper intake manifold, valve cover gasket, coil packs, spark plugs, plug wires, oil pressure sender, oil heater/cooler hoses, pcv valve, and oil filter.
Tomorrow I need to buy a thermostat, break in oil, transmission fluid, water wetter, a transmission output seal(if they have one), and an alternator/wp belt.
Also need to find the crank position sensor, I saw it last weekend but can't find it now

Thank goodness, I wasn't sure you had received the package until now.
It was on your "workbench" the last time I saw it. Also check on the back of the NB?
I think have 3, you should have said something

C'mon get that thing done, I want to see Gabby's reaction to driving it.
I'm trying hard to get down there tomorrow night. I've gotten nothing done all week, so the dash may be a bunch of wires with a little sleeving around them to get it put together for now. I should be able to lend a hand getting it done.

Came home from work today and got the rear fenders installed.

Pat came by a bit later and with his help we got the car all buttoned up and ready to go!

Unfortunately we didn't have time to break in the motor, so that'll have to happen on the way there in the morning
I'm bringing my ramps and drain pan so I can change the oil after the drivers meeting

To be fair, he's been working on it nights and weekends, and I spent 3 of the last 4 weekends at his place wrenching. I ain't got nuttin' else to do while waiting for parts, so why not? Also, things would go A LOT faster/smoother if we had all the parts together in one place at the same time
I didn't sign up for this event but I just got back from visiting the track. He and his GF are at MRLS right now double teaming the car through 2 different run groups with a pan full of assembly lube
I dropped off a filter, jug of oil and a wrench. Maybe he'll get around to changing it at lunch
