Inspecting the oil pump looks not bad, but I am a tiny bit concerned with a little wear on the housing, and a few tiny scuffs/scratches on the gears.
Not sure if that's totally fine or should replace. They're so minimal that even a fingernail won't catch on them, but I'm still concerned:
Thoughts?

Pretty rods... stock pistons?
How close were the rods out of the box in terms of weight/end balance?
No technical help with the pump, except that: "When in doubt, throw it out." If you are worried about it at all, replace it. Cheaper and easier to do it now than have a problem later.

Check the relief valve spring length then I'd probably run it. Rule of thumb is that if you can't catch a nail on it, it shouldn't affect much. Unless you're a rubber seal. That's usually with something like an accidental scratch during assembly. Obviously something caused this scratch and there's always that chance that it'll only get worse. I've personally never seen those kinds of scratches on the 1.6 and two 1.8 pumps I've disassembled.
