Here is a little teaser for you all, we just have to edit all the clips together. This was a 2/3/4 pull on 21psi. It was really hot today like 90* so I was actually getting traction on the Maxxis VR1 since they stick pretty good if they are warm.

Andy, around here people have been charged over videos showing them (allegedly) doing way illegal speeds on public roads. Standard of proof applies of course, but still ...
Dunno how things work over there, but please don't end up without a license, or worse. |

I understand. You missed my point, it is not the neighbors you need to watch out for.
It is the viewers, and LE, if you or your car are identifiable in a video uploaded to SM or the like. Local guy lost licence and big fine that way, but perhaps you don't have a speed limit there, Or for other reasons, you don't have to worry about someone seeing a video and saying 'look at that bloke driving at crazy illegal speeds, I need to report him before he kills somebody'. Here endeth public service announcement, we take you back to normal programming. |
Gee Emm is referring to law enforcement's retroactive prosecution by using the driver's own public domain high speed driving videos as evidence against them to successfully levy fines/bans. I know it's common place in the UK and Australia but does this happen in the US?

I did not see it; what was the final tq for the new head studs? Glad everything got worked out, minus the added funds needed to do so. Compliments on the new low mount set up!

Andy is my 400hp boost hero. He doesn’t give a shit. Coolant reroute? Nah. COP’s? Don’t need them. EBC? That’s for sissies. 400ftlbs through a 6 speed? Oh yes! |

I think I'm gonna take the car back to the dynojet soon. Also my old head that I could never find the crack on....I want to cut the head up and look at it for science. Probably will do a video of me cutting the head up. Wanna get a look at how good (or bad) the casting really is.
|
Some interesting news, my stock crank pulley sheared off the bolts on the pulley boss and yeeted itself. I ordered a fluidampr which I wanted anyways so the car gets more cool parts.
|
Good call on the Fluidampr, I love mine, and the newest revision gets rid of those 4 bolt failure points.

How do you like the damper? I like that it's not a press fit like the ATI and I like the fact that it's viscous. I think it will smooth the engine out quite a bit from what I've read. What have you noticed with yours? |
Engine is notably smoother. I had a oil pressure gauge bobble, that was caused by engine harmonics at high RPM, and it went away with the damper. Just feels better overall, and makes me feel better about abusing the car on the track at high RPM on a stock oil pump.
|
Got the fluidampr installed. Haven't taken the car for a drive yet, I'll do that tomorrow
