Matt, you're supposed to just immediately fly into a butthurt rage when questioned. You're doing it wrong.

You're being too rational. Stop it.

I think it's a cool car regardless, so carry on with your bad self.

wilwood 11" needs special things done to the wheel? well, there goes my hope of fitting CCW over 11.75" brakes...

As for functional fails... 1.6, using flares for wheel/tires that fit under stock fenders, etc. but its a show car so whatever

Although I think if you stretched the tires, mt would go into rage mode.

I thought all flavors of 11" brakes fit over practically all 15" miata wheels and the 949 and trackspeed 11.75" ones also fit under almost all wheels.

My wheels would deffinatley not fit under stock body without camber. But I have the wheels so the calipers clear the faces. Not because the rotor will hit the inner barrel

The biggest one is chopping out the upper portion of the firewall. That's a high pressure zone, so all it's doing is dumping air into the back of the engine bay, which stalls what little flow you have through the radiator. A hood vent will help, but not having the engine bay sealed at the back pretty much cripples you. I also think the ITB runners aren't long enough, and there's no functional need for the flares with a 205mm tire on 9" wheels. It's clearly not a track car, though, so for what you're doing those aren't big issues.

Good luck tuning the car. ITBs + turbo = not fun. I don't envy you

Ive heard that ITB + Turbo setups are a pain to tune too.... but once they are, they can be some serious beasts. That came from honda guys though.... because honda.... lol

At first, I thought that the engine bay smoothing was a little over done. But that turbo and intake fills out the bay beautifully. Looks awesome.

My engine bay is clean.... but its clean as in CLEAN... as in NOT dirty... His is Clean, as in, Barren... AND not dirty... Ive never liked Tucked bays and stuff until i saw his. It looks sic. And you are definitely right, the turbo and all supporting goodies do fill up the space nicely.

That front bumper allows for some nice fresh air to that oil cooler duct. Nice idea. Any better pics of the manifold?
