I'll have to check again, but I don't have a diagram. I did switch the wires, but that did nothing, as there was still no signal coming from the tps

Good lord,
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...82a59e7dce.png Black/lt grn is ground, dont fuking touch it... or rather put it back where it was. Type "miata schematic" into google and literally a 100+ results of factory wiring diagrams. This thread may confuse you more than it helps you, but for the cognitive thinkers among us: https://www.miataturbo.net/megasquir...5-75375/page2/ |
When I say switched I meant swapped. Didn't think there was much of a difference, my bad. And there's just three wires for it the red being the 5v, the black being the ground, and the green being the signal. I switched the ground and the 5v wires around, which is what I thought I was supposed to do. And I also read that PNP Pro already has a jumper for the tps, is that true?

That'll do it.

Reading up and it's saying with the pnp pro that it'll need a jumper

So using powers of reasoning, do you think you need a jumper or not?

TPS is fucked. I'm done with this, every single time I try something I fail. This project has been nothing failures and will continue to be so for me. $1k for the whole damn car with everything. Located in Crestview Florida. Maybe someone else can get it going and have fun with it

I would consider this to be a love/hate relationship.

Is this car revving yet?
|
Not yet, unfortunately. I'm going to try and run stuff on MAP only until the jumpers for the tps come in.
EDIT: Turns out I didn't configure the Megasquirt to run on the GM IAT sensor and that was preventing it from revving. She'll rev up now but still has a fair amount of hesitation. Just need to mess with the Fuel VE table a bit it seems |
