If it's easy for you, then yes. Why not?

Yeah there is e85 in North Charleston so not really much of a drive on the weekend. Not sure if I trust the gm sensor. Would prefer a manual switching system.

I'm dying for someone to actually push one of these on e85.
Carlos has the MK pump gas man-boost locked down.

Well if I built the motor right I don’t see why I’ll have any issues. Alright contacting Andrew to get a pro opinion on this upgrade. Not looking to exceed 300hp on this...one day maybe 6speed or bmw tranny swap. Then we can do all of it!

Thanks Vlad! Not quite yet, I did hit 25psi today, fuelable below 5800 or so. BOV reference still leaks out the valve stem, 2 different crap ones on order, if they don't work, a real Tial from ATP.

My goal is to be like Carlos! In talking with Andrew he made some good points around changing out my hard lines and anything interacting with the ethanol if I plan to run it long term. North Charleston is a bit aways from me so I’ll go there every so often for E85. It might mostly be 93 octane and when I really feel like it E85.

Making good progress with wire “hidingâ€. Will post pics in a bit.

I think his intention is that for long term use it would be beneficial so ethanol does not break down hardlines or any tubing not rated for ethanol. I don't have any data to substantiate comments, but from what I read on here not a lot of people have had issues with E85 doing those things.

Got a 1.8 exhaust manifold from Lars and plan on sandblasting it and some other items to be painted this weekend before it gets too cold out. I should be able to get things wired up also this weekend if all goes well then proceed to cleaning engine bay and prepping for paint! Might need a space heater any recommendations?!

Tore into vvt harness I got and now I can cut in and make one splice by reusing connectors and wires instead of two splices on my 1.6 harness. Victory!

More progress!

Got my throttle body, IACV, intake manifold, water pump pulley, and exhaust manifold sandblasted. Got some paint on these and began test fitting. Also got my GM LS Coils with a harness for only $60! So I’ll be making a bracket for them! Anyone know if OEM plug wires fit miata?

Will be modifying harness today too! So exciting!

Well that's just about a wrap! Got coolant, oil, and air lines ran! Sad fab mount installed! I highly recommend it! Just need an alternator bracket and I'm in business! Next phase is to paint engine bay!

Started tearing into engine bay to get the car prepped to power wash crud off of it and to degrease, sand, primer, and paint! Found motor mounts torn which explains a little but about why getting into gear has been tough. Making car have a manual rack as well for full race effect! Any thing Else I should do while undertaking this effort? Aka what am I missing?
