Wait a minute, that's not a chinacharger....

I've actually got all the parts to do the 4 port ebc + 2 port tuebosmrt actuator but haven't gotten around to doing anything with them. I believe Aidan was/is running that setup but I seem to remember he was ruining actuators? Unsure if he solved that before ruining his motor.

Never solved it. I have like 3 ruined bushings right now. Really annoyed.

Sounds like I will hold off on upgrading those parts. I have been traveling and haven't been able to play with the miata! Today I will probably be able to put a baseline tune Vlad gave me on the car and get things going again.

She is alive!!! Drove around the neighborhood today! Miss driving that car a lot! That turbo keeps wanting to come on sooo early! Can't wait until this gets dialed in all the way. Still have some exhaust rub!

Went for a drive today and may have accidentally hit like 3psi of boost on EFR setup. Downpipe is still hitting pretty hard so I will have to figure something out around that...3" is a solid diameter to cram in a Miata.

Not what she said. lol

Pics and videos coming up once I get my tune back from Vlad.

Corrected my boost leaks just from doing a pressure test. Everything holds to 20 psi.

I noticed that a coolant hose was touching the downpipe. It was PAPER thin. So I decided to flip the mixing manifold, which turned into switch water lines on EFR turbo, which turned into pull the exhaust manifold, which turned into a mess....lol
Also might be doing the 6 speed thing soon...stay tuned!

Modified mixing manifold and now I have to remove the A/C fan, which I don't ne

ed anymore. Soooo now I have to make a new mount for the fan, but it feels like it will hold in place. I am rerouting all of the coolant lines from the heater core. See the new layout in the pictures I have attached. Just a mock up now. I will then do some heat shielding on turbo and kind want to extend oil feed to turbo with a nipple so that the oil line is not so close to the turbine housing.

So after my last drive I found some major boost leaks. Sealed up my catch can which was leak #1 and #2 is injector 1 where it connects to intake manifold which is a nightmare to to get to. Ill be taking care of that right after work tomorrow. I might then actually be able to run more than 4 psi of boost...

Any other ideas as to why i cant get more than 4 psi of boost? I did a pressure test on my entire system and cannot for the life of me know why this is happening.

Wastegate not closing- will drive with it wired shut shortly
Efr bov leaking- did pressure test and didnt have a leak there
Wastegate actuator- only after it relieves pressure does it leak out what I would call the packing or the seal to the shaft.
Intercooler piping - cant be due to pressure test
Exhaust leak would be significant as heck but i havent noticed anything.

What else can it be?

Wired wastegate closed. Slight misalginment. If i cant play with preload and alignment and get what I am targetting its time to buy something from trackspeed. Boy that car is fast af at only 11 psi!

Made 6 psi today and found exhaust leak. I cant catch a break. I think i might be ready for some ebc solenoid tuning. This turbo comes on almost immediately with this setup. Props to lars on a good exhaust manifold for the efr.

More Pulls!
Remarkable how quickly this thing spools!

EBC tuning up next. Having some Need rpm sync issues. Doesn't seem like any of my composite logs show that my cam or crank sensors are bad...not sure what else to look at. Any input would be great!
