The old man lives!

Big fan of those gauges -- I have one in my miata and my 240. I bought them before Link offered them; they started life as the GaugeArt Cangauge.

Curly has really nailed the tone I was looking for with this exhaust. Ms. Mobius is going to love it. Personally, I could use a bit more turbo whistley noises, but hey.

You mean the reflection? That's the side of the house, funhouse style due to the curvature of the hood.

I believe the vague reference was to the car coming home, his painted hood will have vents afaik.

^ that. Vented hood isn't painted yet.

Some pics and stuff. Track day Thursday at PIR.

tailpipe sensor reads about .5 leaner than the onboard. Not running 12 afr. Sadly no boost plot.

All miatas need at least 3 batteries

225 RS4/s on Konig Dekagrams. Haven't hooked up the brake ducting hoses yet, Thursday is a shakedown / have fun day with the car, monitor coolant & oil temps, etc but I'll probably get that done tomorrow. Finally having consecutive days of dry weather here.

Shakedown laps happened today, car was great. GoPro didn't capture any sound though so I need to figure out if either I specified the wrong input or if the external mic used for the first time (that's been sitting in the toolbox since IDK 2014 when I bought it) didn't actually provide any sound. New camera, new mic, first time using the new GoPro software and config menus which they've tried to make easy to use and point and click for the tide-pod-eating generation and instead of course have made things more uncertain as to "is my camera on these settings and will it keep them every time I power it on."
