Glad you are enjoying this thing. That's quite quick for an old truck man, I bet it's super fun. Have you done any virtual dyno pulls or anything? Do you know what it weighs?

Have you considered getting a dragy? In the absence of a drag strip it can get you all the data and then some. I've tested it a bunch at the drag strip and its usually very accurate. Plus you can configure it to capture 0-60 and/or from any speed to any speed, which is great for tuning.

I have my windows tablet instrument cluster with a datalog button that's just a tap away. I'm sure there is a way to display the trip odometer to get an approx 1/4 mile but I guess it would not account for tire spin.

The bronco 2 tilt column did not like not having power steering and it blew out all the joints and bushings. Used a piece of the roll cage tubing to make a new one.

Machined up some misalignment spacers to convert my poly 4 link to heim joint. It took all day but damn is it easy to make adjustments now. I even got some time lapse of the lathe work.

Grab your welder and lay a super fat bead along the front of the axle. It’ll help with that toe out you’ve got going on.

I think it's supposed to be there, I just got the axle straightened and rebuilt a few months ago

What's that toe in inches? Its going to toe in basically nothing under power but I'm not sure 0.05 degrees is any noticeable amount.

I love old school box flares. Maybe gentle curve from the bottom of the wheel well to the front and back. Finishing with a 120° to the very front, and a 45° to the rear. Then maybe a 45° at the top or a sudden curve. Something like that is my suggestion. Hopefully we can have an event that doesn't get rained out soon.

After several iterations of the wide body shapes, I came to the conclusion that the truck just isn't wide enough for the look I'm after. I went back to steel flares but a different shape than the old ones to make sure they clear the tires, they're an inch wider and 2" shorter. There's a lot of finish work left to make them seamless but I'm loving the look.

Finally got rid of the temporary plastic piece that's been filling the gap between the radiator and intercooler on #superterd. It's only been there 7 years

The old plastic cardboard

New fancy rubber

Put a bike rack in the bed of the truck. It needed to be elevated up on the fender cause my RIPMO is longer than the bed.

Upgraded my idle air control. Went from 3/8" to 5/8" hoses and have the air valve dumping straight into the manifold instead of through the brake booster vacuum port. The IAC is for a 2000 Mustang GT.

Dude, I love the flare style. I was super skeptical about the widebody, to be honest, the original lines on the truck are so good and should be maintained as best as possible. The new flares look perfect.

Nice bike! It looks hilariously huge in the bed of that truck. Super sick.

All the new 29ers are huge compared to the older bikes. My buddy's new Megatower is like 4" longer than that one. Thats why the racks are on the fenders, so the tire can overhang the bed.
