My Template came in the mail from ARTech and the bolt holes line up with my Churbo!!! I get paranoid about stuff like that so I am relieved that this turbo will work out fine. Now all it has to do is stay alive on the car for a while and I will be really happy haha

First thing that blows about this Turbo is I need another $100 in Flanges...
2 bolt inlet adapter Flange GT25/28/28RS, alum, 2.5" OD : atpturbo.com
3 bolt outlet adapter - GT28R/GT25R/T25 Compressor, aluminum : atpturbo.com
Unless you guys know of any other options for a cheaper price?!?!

I just wish I could start the build now but it has to stay my DD until I get my fiancee's corolla to DD
I see all of these other builds, guys pulling their motor and freshening up their bays... I want nothing more than to just pull my motor and get it freshened up and clean my engine bay, paint my valve cover, etc... Maybe even a wire tuck. Who knows lol this time next year that should all be happening though

That should save you some cash.
Just use the exhaust flange and make an inlet like this.

Nice thanks!
Also... What kind of hardware is best to secure these flanges? Anything special recommended???
EDIT* CXRacing coming through!!! Found both flanges in nice looking Billet Aluminum for only $42+Shipping!!! Can't beat that for both flanges!

The outlet is just a regular M6 and the inlet is 8x1.25. Just use anything, with some RTV.
Autobend.co.nz is great to deal with and has the 3 bolt flange, Ive used it before but then you need to buy or fabricate a cone and weld it on etc, and no idea what it would cost to buy just one flange including shipping, but if you emial them they will get back to you within a business day they are great.
Here is the autobend flange fabbed up, I cut a V into a pipe and welded it together into a cone shape the continued the IC piping from there,
Again you see another 2 bolt exhaust flange intake pipe with just a 45* bend and a foam filter with a 2" inlet to the filter to fit the 2" pipe, I figure if garret gave me a 2" inlet they know better than me, why put a 3" filter on it?

A little more than the cxracing ones, retaining the features of the atp setup too.
ALSO: Nevermind lol

Excellent find BTMiata! The price on those is significantly better, although I like the atp outlet with the wastegate line fitting already in it. It looks like my build is going to be very similar to yours! Excited to see how this turns out.
EDIT: Found these Turbo Compressor Inlet + Outlet Adapter Flange Garrett GT25 GT28 T25 T28 SR20DET

Oh well I'll figure it all out haha
Thanks!! I have a part-buying addiction! Right now I am waiting on those flanges, a Walbro 190hp, and a K&n cone filter. My PayPal is hurting right now haha

Source the waste gate vacuum/pressure from closer the the throttle body. This helps to take into consideration the loss from the pipe and inter-cooler.
You don't really need to know what the turbo is producing right out of the housing, you need to know what your motor is seeing.

Yeah a little research shows you'll actually be better off this way. Epic specifics: https://www.miataturbo.net/diy-turbo...79/#post379883

Moving on, I deided to start gathering parts for my coolant re-route. So far I picked up the infamous escalade upper rad hose from Autozone, and picked up a used kia water neck from a member on here. Next I will grab a block-off plate and the adapter from bell and I should be good to go!
Also, I got my Walbro 190hp in the mail yesterday. Just waitng on my turbo flanges from CXRacing, and my K&N Filter from Doaparts ... Damnit my wallot is feeling itt right now.... Good thing payday is this Friday

More parts in the mail... nothing important but I still get all happy whenever the doorbell rings haha. I think the only things I am still waiting on right now are the turbo flanges, and a kia water neck

Nothing groundbreaking... but parts nonetheless! Turbo flange adapters came in :-)
Also MT.NET Sticker!
Also ordered my heater core cause it finally started dripping... It's been leaking for the past week cause I could smell it but no coolant was to be seen anywhere until today
