Project Lagwagon (TO4E 1.6L)
Big changes are coming up soon. Hopefully getting solid advice here to start the next phase of the project.
I'm looking to make ~350whp on this motor (1.6L)
I don't want to have to go over the top but I know certain things are necessary.
Switching to E-85 (readily available here)
I will refresh the motor with bearings, oil pump, gaskets and maybe new lifters.
Will need rods of course, what brand?
Do i need pistons?
Headwork?
720cc (rx7?) vs 1000cc (Injector dynamics is local)
T3 frame 2871? I want usable power to redline but decent spool the ebay turbo i have now will get me that power range but will probably suck I'm guessing.
Any advice would be super rad, I know not too many people check this thread.

I'm getting Pauter rods (one of the best), oversize wiseco pistons, acl race bearings, arp studs, billet main caps and cometic head gasket. I already have cams and arp head studs ls2 coils and m tuned re route.
I'm going for the flyin miata big fuel kit for e-85 with 1000cc Id injectors. I also have a genuine Garret 2871r and full 3" exhaust to help spool.
I believe this is what's needed to hit that number reliably..
Whether or not that's what u wanted to hear just thought I'd list my parts to give you an idea on what I'm doing. How did your 4x114.3 conversion go? I'm still waiting for mine :(
