I tried very hard to listen for any hint of recirc noise and cannot hear any in your videos. I like that alot. Just seems to be very different to all the other EFR 6258 standard recirc valves I've heard (still a very audible recirc sound - which I dislike). Would you happen to be using a standard EFR recirc valve?

It is however competing against a lot of surrounding noise, a loud exhaust and being conveyed through headphones. Is it the case in real life, no recirc noise to be heard, only sweet spool up/down sound?

Cheers

Standard recirc valve, yes. Can't be heard, even in person, because it's fairly low boost and it's competing with a 3" open exhaust which dumps under the car, as evidenced above. It is very audible in the street car with a full exhaust. If you don't like the recirc noise, I highly recommend the open exhaust to mask it

Thanks for the reply. Open exhaust on the street would be quite a challenge. I will make an effort in insulating the (not EFR) recirc circuit and put some thought into damping sound in an airbox as well.

Cheers

Fantastic. Great drive man. You stayed patient but persistent, forced him to watch his mirrors and make a mistake. When you got by you stayed calm and just rolled away. Nicely done.

1. Shorter distance line through T1 kept you in his side mirror the entire turn. That would be nerve wracking.

2. That looks like a TON of shifting. Characteristic of Sonoma or the power/gearing combo?

Pretty standard shift pattern for a 6-speed car at Sonoma. 6sp/3.9s in the car right now. A stockish-power car might be able to use 4th instead of 5th into T6 (Carousel), but it would be the same number of shifts everywhere else, just with more time between them

That was a fun video! That was probably the first full race video I have ever watched all the way through! I remember that track from my old Gran Turismo days. It used to be called Infineon, right?

You really need some data overlay on these vids, I want to see what G's you are pulling and how fast you are going

Nice driving, well done. Also cool to see you ripping down what I would consider the return track at 100 something. We aren't supposed to exceed 20 there, people would get run over otherwise.

Does this mean you will be there tomorrow?

Its proper name has always been Sears Point.

Awesome video, nice driving. Car looks like a blast.

What happened with the DQ's in time trials?

Also it looks like a guy on the national forums liked your video as well lol...
