Are you planning on adding any more detail to the instrument binnacle?

The rest of the build is gobsmacking, very well done!

Nice another N/A car.

Very well built. I would like to know how you like the stage III camshafts, particularly the normal driving characteristics. They are much more aggressive than what I am running currently.

I just want to hear this thing scream down the street! I also want to see the dyno graph.

Thanks. And that is almost verbatum what revlimiter said when I approached him with the idea for the gauges. I have no stereo, heat, AC, etc so I decided to continue the spartan interior theme with the gauge faces. No hash marks and no indications as to what each gauge actually is i.e. "MPH". The last four numbers get progressively larger on the tach and speedo but other than that, no other indicators.

TDR started making some progress today and god, I can't wait to hear it either!

Hum. Been seeing in on CR. I dismissed it as "POS" CR build. Actually very nice.

You mean to say all members of a forum might not, in fact, do identical things to their cars? Well **** me running, who knew?

Told you guys he had a cool car.

I'm an idiot. Except... nope... I got nothing. Has been mentioned several times and is something I'd like to tackle once done so not worried about it now. TDR has enough to do so I'm not going to task them with something I can do over a weekend.

'91 Mercury Capri VC from a pick-n-pull... Here's what $23 of awesome gets you...

Most are now networked between themselves and other lots so they should be able to find you one even if they don't have a Capri there.

TDR is making some progress in bringing this build to completion and has started working on the suspension/brakes/bushings... Not very exciting but here are some photos of the progress.

Thanks! I just got done checking out your site and as a vet I want to say 'thank you' for offering a military discount. You'll be the first place I check for any future purchases based on that alone. Means a lot to me to find vendors that support our troops.

Absolutely, with family and friends in the service we really like to take care of our troops! Let me know if I can get anything for you! Great progress as always, and I can't wait to see the final product.

In the interest of adding to my post count; a few updates...

Version 1 of my OCC set-up. Final version will have all black fittings and the VTA filter will be on the fender side.

On the ground; however, the suspension hasn't been 'tuned' yet. They're going to get the interior in and then corner balance, etc.

With the GV hood I'll be running hood pins so got a cooling plate that doesn't have the notch for the latch and had it powder coated to match the VC.

I got a ZOOM console; however, they don't have an arm rest so had one made. This too is a version 1/prototype. I'm going to have another shop make a better one and in the end, the notch for the petrol lid release may not be needed.

And finally, my YSCC trunk lid showed up about a week after I got the car up to TDR so never got to see it on Scrat. Had to go to Dallas for work a few weeks ago and managed to fit the lid in my DD.

That's it for now. TDR is currently working on assembling the rest of the interior as well as finishing up the last few things on the engine so they can start to focus on making it run.

Is that lithium grease on suspension bushings? Have fun lubing those weekly.

It's a cool car. .

I am really digging the engine-bay paint... that grey speckle stuff has a great look to it.
