So let me have it. How bad is it.
Car on WG pressure has 160 miles on the new build.
Runs well and drives well.
The log attached is a 3rd gear pull.

The above is no longer relevant. Getting this bad boy dialed in properly with a VladiTune

Today is 10 days shy of 8 years ago when I got this car and the car is finally tuned and a fun daily driver. Thanks to all the people that helped in the past and thanks to "18PSI" for helping with the MS tuning. Some small things to work out but over all happy with the toy. Fixing the traction issue is next problem.
Here a Dyno video

Well 1st time today doing hwy pulls and found the limit to the 949 racing twin disk clutch (organic disk). What disk everyone running on the street that can hold it?

Wow, aren't they rated up to 400lbft?

I'll chime in later when I have my FM stg2 on, so I'll leave it to others for educated feedback.

My FM stage 1's handled great on my previous 237/247lbft setup but that's a moot point at your power level.

No. Not yet. I bought a new set of disks and floaters to update them. They will be delivered today. I have had my hands full in last few weeks prepping my Rally car for 12/6. But when I get back I'll pull the trans. This is the #trashmasterwagon

I literally just heard the song that your username references on the radio last night. It was the first time I heard that song, or at least acknowledged the lyrics "I can't do 55!", and I was telling my wife about your username on this forum.

Congrats on the MSM, that's some serious power! Are you going to have to put a clutch in it?

Yea Clutch gave up. I bought it used only break in miles on it. I measured the disks and they were well with in spec and I installed it. Put 500 miles in it on WG pressure than dyno tuned it and put 300 more miles on it. Never did any highway pulls tho. Around town the tires spin easy than one morning on way to cars and coffee it was 50* and prob made more power than ever before and it slipped bad. I spoke to 949 and they think it was contaminated or something else was wrong as they have never seen one slip at this power level. I called them last week to buy an entire new setup and they are not available so I bought the disks and floaters. Hope the pressure plate is ok. I'll get it out after Rally.

The "IcantDo55" been around since 1995 when I first set up AOL Messenger and it just stuck. I own icantdo55.com too although I have not touched it since a lemons race in 2010. Here the clutch slip

One of these days I need to do a rally with your team. I'm finally stable enough to pay for a seat and just enjoy the crazyness.

Well finally got the clutch out. Its burned up but I don't see any reason it was slipping, do you?

No. But it's somehow your fault anyway.

Oh, Vlad.

Nope, don't see anything wrong with it. Definitely weird it slipped, since others have run more power than you on that setup without slipping. Only thing to do is try another clutch or try the ceramic and see if that holds. You could also try organic again but don't see how it'd be different.

New 2015+ upgraded version of the carbon full faced disks installed tonight. Had flywheel resurfaced and new TOB and pilot. Fingers crossed.
Anyone have the recommended break in procedure on these?

Hope that holds up better. Weird stuff man.

Put a few heat cycles in it and send it.
