Either decrease your "Idle cranking duty/steps" or take a scredriver and tighten the TB idle bypass screw.

This will bring down your idle RPM and prevent the ECU from kicking in the overrun fuel cut at idle.

I've got that screw a quarter turn open, as in i screwed it all the way down and backed it up a quarter turn.

When i blip the throttle it goes right back into the fuel cut oscillation.

I'll keep tuning.

In that case back down on the Idle cranking duty/steps. Start by removing 5% across the board.

A couple hours of good tuning seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the help Rev.

Getting a little variance in idle RPM now. Sometimes it will idle around 900, sometimes 1100 but no oscillation.

Took it around the block real quick with autotune on.
Having a weird super rich spike when on part throttle. I don't feel like it's in the map. I have it attached in the datalog. It starts at the mark.
Maybe there is a setting i'm not familiar with that is activating or deactivating something.

May try and dig into this tachometer issue now.

Your fueling corrections change very little (Fuel: Total cor), but from 70 kPa to 100 kPa, your VE goes from 82 to 155. Then at 155 kPa, it only rises to... nope, it doesn't rise at all. I'm inclined to think it is your VE table.

For my education, is this a MAP referenced FPR? If so, I imagine the VE table would be flatter than mine, but I would expect some smoother increase from 70 to 155 kPa.

Does VEAL only change cells a certain amount at a time? As in, do i need to stop autotune, save, then start autotune again for it to make more changes to the map?
I tried to do a little testing on this myself but it's difficult to do and drive. I did notice that when i saved, then started autotune over again it seemed like it was doing a better, quicker job of correcting.
Maybe it's got some type of built in failsafe so that it doesn't change sells so much at once it would have a disastrous effect?

This also came up twice when i first went out.

I assumed it's just a glitch as i restarted the car and it hasn't come back.

I don't know about the message.
Yes, you set limits as to how much it will change in both absolute and %. Look under "advanced settings".

I also see differences in sensitivity or maximum change not only between sessions, but if you close TS and re-open it. That may be what you mean. It fully starts over.

Yeah, the value is set to 50 and percentage to 50. Am i wrong in thinking this is set on the high side?

Very high. That surely is not limiting your changes.

Alright, thanks. I'm sure just more time tuning is needed.

I started with a more dialed in map last time, this one was set pretty damn rich. Which is no fault of Rev, i understand he has to send out something safe... Though, it was adding fuel at and above 7500rpm at full boost.

I'm not going to spend much time on this tune. The season is about over. I'm thinking i will finally grow up and use E85. So i'll be trying to figure out how to switch tunes here soon.

Tell me you are running 11.75" big boy brakes, so you can test fit and tell me if these fit.

Stock with upgraded rotors, pads, and lines.
One of these days. It's not high on the list as i don't track the car and don't require 130+mph hard braking successively.

Hell, the stockers hardly fit around my big beefy heavy muscle car rims i currently have.

Went a little hard today. I'm due for an oil change and i suppose the car was just letting me know that.

Oil drain backed itself out a good bit. Still to hot to fix. Edit* I'm now wondering if my AN lines have holes for safety wire. Talk about an impossible spot to do that job though, lol.

While the car was on the stands i took the opportunity to put one of the bad bitches on.

So insanely wider than my current wheels.

I hope they fit.

I have a fender roller and heat gun if you need one. I'm also in the area quite a bit.

Edit. Also, fyi, with my 6uls and 225 rs3's, I had to flat roll my fenders, but I dont have as low of a ride height as some.

Just read [most] of your thread. Excellent build, but it's kind of spooky how you're also a Dragon hound and you live in Detroit.

Oh, I also have an Eastwood/TireRack fender roller, just in case you need one for your new wideness.
