Thanks Jimmy!
Hope to see 12's soon, no drag race tonight for some reason. I just need to pick up a tenth and a half.
On a different note, looks like my cat has classic door mat syndrome.

Really I just need to drive a bit better. But I will be honest I have been looking at some nice summer tires. I am still currently running my 360 treadwear toyo rain tires with large deep water grooves.

These tires don't even pick up gravel.
I am still not using LC or FFS yet so like I said plenty of room for improvement. Still quite a few Wednesday night drags before winter comes, I will try again a week from today.

So I have been working on my motor, the pistons are coming along nicely.
I wonder if people will be mad if I intentionally destroy this stuff. Does anyone actually want these?
I am thinking of making a mobile sculpture or something.

Awesome! I saw the beginning of that lamp, nice progression.
I will pop a fresh vvt wrist pin out for you, I weighed them and they are all within a tenth of a gram. Pretty sure they are all the same.

Just kicking some ideas around.
Bush fuge/swinging ashtray?
And last but not least...
A wrist pin for you Lars, found your address on the turbo box, will send it by Tuesday afternoon my time.

Thought I broke my **** tonight. I got my best launch, under 2 second 60' time, which would have put me close to 12 seconds.
I heard a loud pop during 3rd gear and the car had very little power.
Turns out the coupler on the compressor housing outlet popped off. The larger compressor doesn't have the same nice lip on the outlet as the original turbo, it is also rough as opposed to smooth.
I clamped it as tight as I could, while it was warm, we will see what happens. In fairness I was approaching 18psi above 6grand.
The car seems fine again.

Thanks for the tip, I will at least degrease with IPA. I know it's not beer you guys.
Although beer might stick as well as hairspray, and I have beer.
Mmmm... Beer...
I actually got my best 1/16 mile before the coupler popped off.

Picked up a set of extra wheels for the 2 straight ones. The bent ones don't look so bad so I though I'd see how they feel.
I picked them up so I can paint the good ones and mount some sticky tires for Wednesday nights.
I can't stand the color and my wife said it looks like my car has a bad pair of running shoes. At least the SUV's won't run me over cuz my wheels stand out like a sore thumb.

Ahhh...
This is much better. I had to paint all my good wheels because I knew I would never get the old ones clean.
This is the paint I used for future reference or if anyone else cares. Not the best match for the original, but my wheels were so fucked I couldn't tell the original color anyway.
