haha Thanks! yeah im not a fan of these 5zigen wheels that are currently on the car. Im trying to get the Jonglongdongs on as quick as i can, the key will be selling my 17x8 OZ Superleggera's from my old mz3 before i can afford tires for the Jongadongs

For what it's worth, Onlinetires.com has a set of 4 Federal 595 RSR's for like $340 shipped. Just ordered some (they were out of stock, but as of a day or two ago they said they were in stock).

Kindof a pain to deal with, but cheeeeeep. And good tires. And the 205/50/15 would work fine on the longlonglongdongs.

i appreciate the headsup but the plan is for this car to see alot of autocrosses this summer and id rather roll on the ugly 5zigens with almost brand new Continental DW's than roll Federals on the Joengbloeds. ill just wait til i can get 225-45-15 Hankook RS3's or BFG Rivals. I have a couple solid leads for people that want to by my OZ's. As soon as they sell, the tires, alignment and new steering wheel and quick disconnect will be ordered.

girl was sitting facing my lane of traffic waiting to turn onto a highway onramp. she pulled out across my lane to turn onto the ramp, she claimed "she thought i was merging onto the ramp" (i had no turn signal on, and was already past the on ramp entrance for my traffic direction) so she "turned to the on ramp, then realized i was coming straight, panicked and braked." her exact words. so she was sitting broadside in my lane 50-60' in front of me going 35, i had enough time to curse, stand on the brakes and brace for impact.
she admitted guilt, and the police report shows the same but it sucks for me. i had JUST hit 500 miles since the motor rebuild and was ready to start having a little bit of fun in the car. Ive now hit a total of 1000 miles since i bought it 13 months ago. put 500 miles on it the first week i owned the car then was down all last year to rebuild the motor and work out all the bugs, finally get it running this year then this happens....

That sucks man! I had almost the exact same thing happen to me. I bought an e46 325xi to daily earlier this year. Owned it for 6 hours and someone cut me off right in front of me and it was a total loss. How bad is the damage on your car?

Damn, no fun. Should get a nice, tidy insurance payout though, then have it fixed cheaper and you'll have more $$ for mods!!

Then you'll have money for tires and track time...

so im thinking since i have to have paint and body work done anyway, i found this spoiler and really like it... i know its a little over the top and maybe a little ricey, but im thnking getting it FRP and then painted to body color. i think it would look incredible and give it a bit more aggressive look, but want some other opinions... what do you guys think?

on the bright side its my chunk of change and not yours, haha... sorry i couldnt resist the smartass comment. i dont like the CF and the Fiberglass one is substantially cheaper and would be paint matched with the car. yes its an expensive mod but its also unique and makes my msm unlike any other in that aspect.
if Shipping can get the spoiler to me while the car is still at the body shop i can save some money on the paintwork. if not, ill likely push this to the backburner for a while

I think that picture looks awesome.

On the other hand - it looks awesome only at specific angles, like that one, and looks utterly retarded at many others. It's one of the reasons I never did go through with a duckbill setup on my miata's, despite wanting to do it many times.

That diffuser on the other hand..........drool
