Its been a pretty uneventful winter, the car got tucked away in December for the winter, hopefully March or April will be nice enough weather that I can get her back out.
taxes have been filed, return is already in my bank account and i just ordered a Blackbird Fabworx "Limited Production Black Edition" Lexan Spoiler. Cant wait to see that come in and work on fitting it to the car.
Im planning to focus on a few of the aesthetic changes ive wanted to make to the car this year. the past 3 years have been spent trying to fix the car and make sure the mechanicals were all finally back to the way they should be. I feel like I have finally achieved that and now its time to start changing the look of the car.

took me some time on Saturday and Sunday but its done now.
as you can see, the oem spoiler did a good bit of damage to the trunk lid and i didnt have any reservations about drilling holes into it.
got the middle strut mounted and thats where i took a break to eat dinner saturday and lost motivation lol
view out the rear view mirror. im glad its tinted lexan and not solid black
out and about getting breakfast yesterday morning

i dont think it will lay completely flat but also i havent tried, you can adjust it up or down a bit. i havent gotten to take it on any highway trips to see how much or little it effects the mileage yet. ill keep you posted because im hoping to take the car on the 3.5 hour drive to see my family

I doubt it.
It looks like you can replace the long rotating shaft(s) with a shorter ones for less AOA but the two small mounting brakets on the ends are fixed and force a high AOA.
It's intended for trackwork so remove it for DD (Hint: Buy a 2nd trackday trunk to fit it to).

I do have a second trunk for track work. However, I don't want to swapping trunks all the time, but thanks for the clarification that it can't be adjusted to be flat. The closest track to me is 5 hours away, so I will have to suck up my (assumed) mpg hit if I have that spoiler on.
"For those who already purchased the NA / NB spoiler in the past and want to experiment with lower AOA, we have this drilling diagram -
Drill the Lexan slow, with a 17/64" sharp drill bit and very low pressure.
This is what it looks like when finished -
For NA installations, all you'll need to do is drill the spoiler in the locations noted and move the adjusters to the new holes.
Crack open your favorite brew, you're done.
For NB installations, you'll need to drill the spoiler in the new locations and also drill new mounting holes for the lower mounting points of the side adjusters using a 1/4" drill bit, 13.5" from center in each direction, as shown in the pic below -
Move the adjusters to the new holes on both the trunk and spoiler, crack open your favorite brew, you're done.
Future production batches will be supplied with both sets of holes pre-drilled."
