wheels would be a good thing to have! it will be a while before i buy the trunk! needs out weigh wants!

i cant remember where i saw it but there was a duck bill spoiler that bolts onto the trunk, autokonexion has a similar one but its not as big! if i cant find that spoiler and its cheaper that the trunk ill get it.

thanks man! im thinking bout starting to pull the flares off in prep for the tuckin's! if i do it will kinda give me a incentive to get them as soon as i can! after something else though!

I'd say leave the flares in place until you get the Tuckins. That way if you get the car running before you get the new flares, you can drive it and it won't look horrible.

yeh but the car wont be up for a while though! i still have to get the ECU and build it! and i gotta get piping for exhaust! and build that!

Smart choice....I got a little ahead of myself when I was doin my car. I wasn't planning to buy wheels and tires so soon, but after one drive with the tuckins and kosei's, I had no choice . I really wasn't plannin on dropping the money till about May'ish

haha! the wheels and tire i have now will suffice for now, well maybe not the tires

I have to order the spacers as well too! i also need to find a good 1.8 block i so i can throw my head on it and put it in the car and build my 96 block on the side! one of the reason i parked the 96 and started tearing it apart aside from starting the swap is when i dranned the oil i notice some shimmering in the oil and it kinda scared me a bit! before i dranned the oil the motor was making all kinds of noises ( it had a mystery oil leak somewhere and got really low on oil ) so i drained what oil was in it and noticed the shimmering **** in there!

well the shell is almost completely torn apart and i am working out a deal with a local spec miata guy who builds his own engines!

ill be trading the 96 shell for a race prepped short block and a good deal on a getting my cylinder hear refreshed and race prepped as well!

all that is left to take out is the engine and trans, guage cluster hood, turbo timer, soft top and pass side airbag!

after i get this engine from this guy ill get it in the car and get the car running on that! the block that is coming out of my 96 will get the goodies inside of it! and thats when the my high horse power goals will begin to happen!

what do come of yall think about putting these vent type things in the bumper? i think it looks pretty bad ***, and it seems it can be a functional modification as well!


and does anybody know where i can buy somthing similar to this?
