That is looking amazing Yezzir. I was really confused for a second since it looked BRG instead of blue. That dark blue really color morphs depending on lighting conditions.

There's a TON of gold flake in montego blue. I recently bought a gallon of it for my car and the guy let me watch the paint mix. There's not a bit of green in that paint code, just gold flake that makes it look green.

Great looking car Yezzir. I love how clean everything you are doing is turning out.

Thanks, Jeff! Yeah I love how the color does that.

I agree! The weather is just starting to get nice around here so I'd like to bring it to the track soon

This just arrived! I also got a universal phone mount that I plan on creating a custom bracket for

Spent my afternoon installing these Jass Performance low pro headlights. I'm happy with how they turned out!

After installing the low pro's, I decided to get started on my phone mount bracket.

After creating a cardboard mockup, I cut some scrap aluminum and bent it up. I had originally wanted the mount to be next to the gauge cluster but there wasn't a good mounting point.

So I chose to mount the bracket, using the same mounting points as the climate control box.

So I decided to upgrade my roll bar to a beefier one with diagonals. Both are Hard Dog. My cousin sold his miata and left his roll bar in my garage for months. I decided I'd buy it off him and sell the old one. It looks like it's better for my height (I'm 6'0"). I thought it would be a quick swap but the mounting points on the rear are further back. So new holes had to be drilled and ABS had to be relocated.

About to do the removal of the old bar.

The upgrade

Had to sand off some rust and painted over using VHT rollbar/chassis paint

Aaaand it's installed. Sorry for skipping the process photos. I just wanted to get it done.

I love it too! I wish it had the tabs for the seat belt guides though, like my old bar... I only have the boss frog adapters left (to install them, it requires cutting the stock guides off. I did this because I was told that it would help with the retracting). If you look closely, you'll notice that I mounted the guides on top of the stock rear brace...is this safe?

Default New steering wheel and ****

Got some new goods. I will probably swap between the new and old because I've always loved the style of the wooden bits. Now, the e-brake handle looks out of place :P

Joy Fast super short ****. The thing is pretty heavy which is gonna be nice!

Size comparison to the Nardi

Also got a Momo Prototipo wheel. I wanted to see how a 350mm would feel compared to the 330mm Nardi I was using before.
