some have asked for undercarriage pics, ding pics and interior pics...
please keep in mind the car hasn't been washed in over 2 months since i've been gone
this has been a FL car since day one, the woman i bought it from 5 yrs ago kept it in her husband's airplane hangar its whole life. There is no rust/rot or anything like that anywhere on the car, it's as solid as it gets...indeed rare for a 1996 to be this solid.

There are numerous dings on the car, when it was purchased it was ding free, but 3.5 yrs. of working on it has accumulated a few over time...most of which are impossible to take pics of, some do show and are pictured below.
The body is far from perfect, it's a DRIVER, not a show car, but it is SOLID and not a bondo sled.

That's unfortunate. Are you going to just hold onto it and use it until it sells as a whole then?

I don't see it being difficult to make your asking price with a part out and then selling a mostly stock car. It really is a piece of work though. You did a good job with it, as well as a good job keeping it very clean.

Edit: Do you have receipts at all?

so much work and sweat went into putting it together that i would never dismantle it, regardless how much i can get for the parts.

if someone wants to do it, fine by me, buy it and do whatever you like with it, but in my opinion it would be a shame to part it out.

No, i don't keep receipts for anything, i'm not a receipts kind of guy.
You can see the parts with your own eyes, no need for receipts.

the internals i can't show you without disassembling it, but when you **** your pants when the car is sideways at 80mph on the throttle is when you'll believe there's nothing but the best in there.

I laughed pretty hard to that bottom part, ill talk to my dad and see what he thinks. I do still need a car but with winter approaching so fast I dont know if i want one like this. I kind of wanted more of a looker like airbrushs' old car, it just sucks his engine isnt built like yours. Regardless I will pm you now and see if we can work something out.....

Edit: Just kidding I cant send pms.

^^ tell me about it. I would have been seriously looking at this if I had not already bought my car a few months ago. GLWS, hope it goes to someone who appreciates it.

This car should be placed in a Mazda Dealership main floor...

car with over 30K of goodies, that goes, handles and stops like hell and i get nothing but tire kickers and dreamers.
Unfortunately thats today's market. No need to get mad because you have not sold it.

There are many punk kids who modify Civics to make profit or at least spend a few years on a project, entertain themselves and then sell it for the amount put on it.

If that was your plan since day one, then you are in for a good wake up call.

It may be possible you could have sold the car right away if maybe it would have been a Starion Turbo, Corolla GT, RX-7 anniversary edition with a 3-rotor engine, etc. You know something that would make the car exclusive, be it production or some sort of special edition model.

You have put good chunk of money on the car, nobody questions that, but you cant just be hitting your head againt the wall or simply shooting your left just because buyers have not jumped into the sale.

A little bit off track, but right now the house I own has gone down in price 33,000 since the awesome market collapsed. All and each and everyone of my friends have sold the houses on foreclosure or short sale. Modifying a car during such times its a gamble you made. Wish you the best of luck, nice ride and definitely very well built.

i can't believe this hasn't sold yet. In that condition in maine someone would ask about $6000 for it stock.
