Another Stimulus success story
Oh no, my argument is that you started a topic about a (provably false) Republican talking point, quoted from a conservative source that is as bad as Thinkprogress, and that the topic based on what the source has possesses about as much merit as Mg's experiences with ladyboys in Thailand. Which is to say nonexistent.

26. Accusing conservatives of libel, but forgetting that truth is the perfect defense against libel.
What if I concluded that all of the US-domiciled oil majors (like Exxon) were picked by the government? I would not be surprised if Exxon makes more in net profit in a year (and pays more in nominal taxes despite various "loopholes") than all of the failed alternative energy companies combined.
/devil's advocate
I'm going to try to find out what you are trying to say before responding with a link, Brainy.
Are you trying to say that Exxon receives no government assistance/tax credits/etc. for their green energy projects?

Instead of stupid partisan BS, why not focus on:
1) Keynesian economics - is it really a good idea for gov't to be taking taxpayer money and spending it on ----, instead of leaving investors who risk *their own money*, to do it?
2) Gov't corruption - only blaen99 thinks that one one party is capable of corruption, and that anyone pointing out gov't corruption is an R because a D is in the White House.

I stole a copy of the "Liberal Talking Points Playbook" and it was pretty weak.
1. Blame Republicans
2. Use an incorrectly used reference to "Fox News"
3. Blame Rush Limbaugh
4. Blame George W Bush
5. Blame George HW Bush
6. Blame Ronald Regan

That's why when people I know started discussing politics I completely stopped talking to the liberals. Can't stand to listen to that trash anymore, because seriously, that's all they ever say...

I'd love to post this Huffington Post story: Banker’s Insulting Waitress Tip Incites Class Warfare Between the 1% and the 99%
But it appears there's some discrepancy to the facts...
